Alumni Spotlight #2

We have picked three former NE Scorpions players to highlight in this week’s “Alumni Spotlight.”  This weeks Spotlight shines on the “Stonehill Trio.”   All three are terrific young men and currently having great a great season.

1.  Conor Kiely (OF):  Stonehill College (MA)

- Kiely is batting .441 with an On-Base % of .486 and slugging .559.  He is leading the team in At-Bats (34), Hits (15), RBI’s (8), Triples (1), and Stolen Bases (4).  Conor’s season highlight was against Wentworth going  3-6 with 3 runs scored, 3 RBI, and a stolen base.

2.  Blaine Lidsky (C):  Stonehill College (MA)

- Lidsky is batting .333 with an On-Base % of .444 and slugging .533.  He is also second on the team in doubles (3).  Blaine’s season highlight came on the season opener when he had the walk off hit against St. Anselm College.

3.  Mike Swanholm (1B/3B):  Stonehill College

- Swanholm is leading the Skyhawks in Home Runs (2) and is second on the team with Walks (6).   He is fourth on the team in RBI’s (4).  Mike turned in his best hitting performance this week with both home runs coming against Saint Michaels College to help propel the Skyhawks to a series sweep.
