Alumni Spotlight #3

We have picked three former NE Scorpions players to highlight in this week’s “Alumni Spotlight.”  All three are terrific young men and having great starts to their college careers.


1.  Jarrad Grossguth (INF/OF):  Rhode Island College (RI)

- Grossguth finished the year earning third team honors for the Little East Conference.  He batted .307 with 31 hits, 5 doubles, 2 triples, 3 home runs and 28 RBI’s.  


2.  Sam Craven (RHP):  Trinity College (CT)

- Craven finished the abbreviated season with a 1-0 record.   He made 5 appearances, in which two were starts.  He recorded 11 strikeouts in 14 innings pitched while only allowing 3 walks.    


3.  Ethan Perry (C):  Becker College (MA)

- Perry finished the year with 70 total At-bats.  He tallied 24 hits (8 doubles) and finished with a batting average of .343 with 15 RBI.  He also had an on-base percentage of .455 and a slugging percentage of .457.
