Caleb Leys Drafted in the 4th Rd by Detroit Tigers

After a successful spring season, and MLB Draft Combine, Caleb Leys was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the 4th Rd of the 2025 MLB Draft. Leys played in the New England Scorpions program for 7 years (12U-18U).  

Leys had an incredible junior year campaign at the University of Maine this past spring. The southpaw had a 5-2 record with a 2.69 ERA. He posted 74 strikeouts in only 67 innings pitched and swept the America East Conference awards by being named “America East First Team All-Conference” and “America East Pitcher of the Year.” Weeks later, Caleb found out he also made the “NCAA All-Region Second Team.”
